Activate Booster Combo is not a separate product. ICICI Lombard sells its Elevate health policy and its Activate Booster super top-up together, so you get a base cover and a top-up in one purchase. Elevate is the base policy. Activate Booster is the top-up, which starts paying once your hospital bills in a policy year pass its deductible. ICICI Lombard says the pair can protect you up to ₹1 crore, with a top-up of up to ₹90 lakh on top of the base sum insured. Because there are two policies underneath, each keeps its own rules. Elevate brings the Loyalty Bonus, the Reset Benefit, and optional covers such as maternity, BeFit outpatient cover and personal accident. Activate Booster brings the deductible-based top-up, its Plan A and Plan B versions, and the Waiver of Deductible. It can cover one person or a family. Pick a top-up deductible that your Elevate sum insured can absorb, otherwise you pay the gap yourself.
Elevate base cover and an Activate Booster super top-up bought together, for protection up to ₹1 crore
Finzony treats the Combo as a packaging of two policies you could also buy separately. The idea is the usual one for a super top-up: a moderate base sum insured for everyday hospital bills, and a much larger layer that pays only above the deductible. A ₹10 lakh Elevate base with a ₹90 lakh top-up is how ICICI Lombard reaches its ₹1 crore headline. Your own mix of base, top-up and deductible decides what you actually get, and the quote should show both policies. The two halves behave differently, and that is the part to read carefully. The Reset Benefit and the Loyalty Bonus belong to Elevate only. Reset refills up to 100% of the base sum insured, unlimited times in a year, but never on the first claim of the year and only for inpatient, day care or AYUSH claims. The Loyalty Bonus adds 20% of the sum insured a year, up to 100%, and can be used only after the sum insured is used up. Activate Booster has no reset at all, so the top-up is a one-time layer for the year, not a refilling pool. The waiting periods are the usual retail clocks: 30 days for a new illness, 90 days for hypertension, diabetes and cardiac conditions unless declared as pre-existing, 24 months for a named list of procedures and 36 months for a pre-existing disease. Maternity is available only through the Elevate base policy, as an optional cover with its own wait. The Combo page also lists fewer optional covers than standalone Elevate: Jumpstart, Power Booster, Infinite Care, Worldwide Cover and Critical Illness are not listed, so confirm what your quote offers before you count on them.

The Combo is ICICI Lombard's Elevate base policy bought together with its Activate Booster super top-up. The base pays hospital bills first. The top-up pays admissible bills above its deductible. ICICI Lombard says the pair gives protection up to ₹1 crore, with a top-up of up to ₹90 lakh above the base sum insured.
ICICI Lombard calls this a combination of two different products, so each part has its own terms. Ask for the schedule of both.
The top-up deductible is counted on an aggregate basis across all hospital claims in the policy year, and the base policy's payouts count towards it. For example, with a ₹10 lakh Elevate base and a ₹10 lakh top-up deductible, a year with ₹30 lakh of admissible bills sees Elevate pay ₹10 lakh and the top-up pay the remaining ₹20 lakh.
Activate Booster deductible options are ₹3, 4, 5, 7.5, 10, 15 and 20 lakh. If your base sum insured is below the deductible, you pay the gap.
If earlier claims in a policy year leave too little sum insured, ICICI Lombard resets up to 100% of the Elevate sum insured for later claims, as many times as needed in that year.
It is not triggered by the first claim of the year, applies only to inpatient, day care and AYUSH claims, does not work outside India, and unused reset is not carried forward. The Activate Booster top-up has no reset.
At the end of each policy year ICICI Lombard credits 20% of the Elevate sum insured to the next year, whether or not you claimed, as long as the policy is renewed without a break. The total cannot go above 100% of the sum insured.
The bonus can be used only when the sum insured is completely exhausted. If you reduce the sum insured at renewal, the bonus is cut in the same proportion.
Inpatient treatment covers room rent up to a single private AC room, ICU charges, nursing, doctor fees, anaesthesia, blood, oxygen, operation theatre charges, medicines, consumables, prosthetic devices recommended in writing, and investigations linked to the admission, for a stay of at least 24 consecutive hours.
If you take a room above the category in your schedule, associated expenses such as nursing, OT and doctor fees are paid pro rata. ICU charges are not cut, and no cut applies where the hospital does not bill by room category.
Pays maternity expenses up to 10% of the sum insured, capped at ₹1 lakh, including prenatal costs and 30 days of postnatal care on an inpatient basis. New Born Baby Cover and first-year vaccination cover can be added when maternity cover is in force.
ICICI Lombard says maternity cover is available in the base policy only, for female insured people including spouses on a family floater. A 24-month wait applies from the date it is opted.
If you declare a listed chronic condition such as asthma, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity or coronary artery disease and it is accepted, you get health tracking, dietician counselling, help with lifestyle changes and 2 diagnostic check-ups six months apart, cashless.
Conditions or treatments that the policy clearly says it will not cover.
The conditions and procedures below sit behind the 24-month specified disease and procedure wait, even if they begin after the policy starts. Accident claims are not held to this wait, and if one of them is also a pre-existing disease, the longer wait applies. The list follows ICICI Lombard's policy documents for these products; the policy wording is the final reference.

Two. ICICI Lombard describes Activate Booster Combo as a combination of two different products: the Elevate base policy and the Activate Booster super top-up, which is the one "purchased along with Elevate". You buy them together, but each has its own terms, so ask for the schedule of both.
ICICI Lombard says the Combo gives protection up to ₹1 crore, and that the top-up can add up to ₹90 lakh above the base sum insured. For example, a ₹10 lakh Elevate base with a ₹90 lakh top-up reaches ₹1 crore.
The top-up deductible is counted on an aggregate basis across the year's hospital claims, and the base policy's payouts count towards it. With a ₹10 lakh Elevate base and a ₹10 lakh deductible, a year with ₹30 lakh of admissible bills sees Elevate pay ₹10 lakh and the top-up pay ₹20 lakh. Choose a deductible that your Elevate sum insured can absorb, because you pay any gap yourself.

Nursing at home pays up to ₹2,000 a day for up to 10 days after hospitalisation. Compassionate Visit reimburses an economy ticket for a family member if your stay passes 5 days, up to ₹20,000 a policy year. Health check-up pays for a cashless package for adults, up to the lower of 0.5% of the sum insured or ₹5,000.
Dependent accommodation and personal accident are also listed for the Elevate base. Their limits are in the policy schedule.
On the Elevate base, yes. Reset refills up to 100% of the base sum insured, as many times as needed in a policy year. It is not triggered by the first claim of the year, applies only to inpatient, day care and AYUSH claims, and does not work outside India. The Activate Booster top-up has no reset benefit.
It is part of the Elevate base. ICICI Lombard adds 20% of the sum insured at each renewal, whether or not you claimed, up to 100% of the sum insured. The bonus can be used only after the sum insured is completely exhausted, and it is cut in proportion if you reduce the sum insured at renewal.
Only through the Elevate base policy, as an optional Maternity Benefit. ICICI Lombard says it is available for female insured people, including spouses on a family floater, and a 24-month wait applies from the date you opt for it. The top-up does not cover maternity. Without the add-on, childbirth, miscarriage unless an accident caused it, and lawful termination of pregnancy are excluded.
Yes, after a 36-month wait for conditions you declare and ICICI Lombard accepts. The waiting period reduction option can shorten it to 24 or 12 months. Jumpstart, which brings the wait down to 30 days for six listed conditions, is not listed on the Combo page, so ask whether it is available in your quote. Declare every condition when you buy.
ICICI Lombard lists these for the Combo: maternity, newborn and vaccination cover, BeFit, Claim Protector, Inflation Protector, air ambulance, durable medical equipment, waiting period reduction options, teleconsultation, Room Modifier, Network Advantage, NRI Advantage, chronic disease management and Guaranteed Deductible Reduction, plus nursing at home, compassionate visit, health check-up, dependent accommodation and personal accident on the Elevate base. Power Booster, Infinite Care, Worldwide Cover and Critical Illness are not listed.
Plan A covers 90 days before and 180 days after the hospital stay and adds hospital cover for a surrogate mother and an oocyte donor. Plan B covers 60 days before and 90 days after, but adds home care treatment up to ₹5 lakh and lets you add health check-up, nursing at home, compassionate visit and dependent accommodation. The sum insured and deductible options are the same.
ICICI Lombard does not publish a combined or starting price for the Combo. You are buying two products, so the quote should show the premium for both. The only official sample is for the Activate Booster alone: its prospectus shows ₹5,113 a year at age 44 and ₹6,515 at age 48 for ₹10 lakh cover with a ₹3 lakh deductible, at standard rates before any loading and excluding taxes. Your premium depends on age, sum insured, deductible, zone, tenure and optional covers.
