How we create, review, and maintain our calculators and content — and our commitment to accuracy and transparency.
Last reviewed: June 2025
Finzony is built and maintained by a team of finance enthusiasts, developers, and educators. Our editorial team reviews all calculator formulas, guides, and articles before publication. We are not a licensed financial advisory firm — our content is educational in nature and designed to help users understand personal finance concepts.
Every calculator on Finzony is built on publicly documented financial formulas — the same formulas used in textbooks, government publications, and certified financial planning curricula. We do not use proprietary black-box models. For example, our SIP calculator uses the standard future value of a recurring investment formula, our EMI calculator uses the standard reducing balance method, and our US tax calculator uses the official IRS tax brackets published each year.
Before any calculator goes live, our finance team cross-checks results against at least two independent sources — typically government publications (RBI, IRS, SEBI, SSA) or established financial reference sites. If a discrepancy is found, the formula is corrected before publishing. Calculator results are estimates based on the inputs you provide. Real-world results may differ due to changing interest rates, tax law amendments, fund performance, and individual circumstances.
Our learning content follows a structured editorial process. Topics are selected based on search demand and real user questions. Guides are written by our editorial team with reference to authoritative sources — RBI circulars, IRS publications, SEBI guidelines, SSA documentation, and peer-reviewed financial literature. Every guide includes citations or references where applicable. We aim to explain complex concepts in plain language without oversimplifying the underlying facts.
Financial rules change — tax brackets, contribution limits, interest rates, and regulations are updated regularly. Our team reviews time-sensitive content at least once a year, or immediately when a major regulatory change occurs (e.g., new IRS limits, RBI rate changes, budget amendments). Each page displays a 'Last Updated' date so you know when it was last reviewed.
Finzony is not a licensed financial advisor, investment advisor, tax professional, or insurance broker. Nothing on this site constitutes personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Our tools and content are for educational and informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Finzony may display advertisements and may earn commissions through affiliate partnerships with financial products and services. This never influences our editorial content or calculator formulas. We do not allow advertisers to dictate what we write, how we calculate, or which products we feature. Sponsored content, if any, is always clearly labeled.
We take accuracy seriously, especially because personal finance decisions can have real consequences. If you spot an error in a formula, factual mistake in an article, or outdated information, please report it to us. We review all such reports and publish corrections promptly.
