SBI Life Saral Swadhan Supreme (UIN 111N139V02) is a simple, individual, non-linked, non-participating life insurance savings plan with return of premium, available online. If you die during the policy term, your nominee receives the sum assured on death as a lump sum. If you survive the term, SBI Life returns 100% of the total premiums paid as a lump sum, provided the policy is in force. The basic sum assured ranges from ₹25 lakh to ₹50 lakh, entry age is 18 to 50 years, and cover runs up to a maximum age of 65 at maturity. Policy terms run from 10 to 30 years, and you can pay regular premiums or for a limited 7, 10 or 15 years. The plan is built for easy issuance, and an optional Accident Benefit Rider can add accidental death and partial permanent disability cover.
Simple online return of premium plan with ₹25 lakh to ₹50 lakh cover and regular or limited pay options.
Saral Swadhan Supreme is the simpler, mid-size version of SBI Life's return-of-premium range. It suits buyers who want a cover of ₹25 lakh to ₹50 lakh, a quick online purchase and their premiums back at maturity. The limits matter. Cover tops out at ₹50 lakh, entry is allowed only up to age 50, and cover ends by age 65, so it works best for younger buyers with moderate needs. As with any return-of-premium plan, you pay noticeably more than for a pure term plan and the refund carries no interest, so its real value falls over time. If you need more than ₹50 lakh or cover beyond age 65, compare it with SBI Life Smart Swadhan Supreme (no upper limit, cover up to 75) or a pure term plan such as Smart Shield Plus. Choose Saral Swadhan Supreme if the guaranteed refund and a simple purchase matter more than the lowest premium.
