ReAssure 3.0 is Niva Bupa's flagship family health insurance plan, built around one idea: a sum insured that never runs out. Every variant (Classic, Select, Elite and Black) offers an unlimited base sum insured from Day 1, so a very large claim or several hospitalisations in the same year cannot exhaust your cover. The plan is available on an individual and a family floater basis. Beyond the unlimited cover, ReAssure 3.0 lets you decide how long you wait for pre-existing conditions. You can add the optional Day 1 PED cover, which waives the waiting period on up to 145 listed conditions, or keep the standard 36-month waiting period. Hospital stays of 2 hours or more are covered, home care treatment is covered up to the sum insured, and the Elite and Black variants add Lock the Clock, which freezes your premium at your entry age until your first paid claim. Optional add-ons include Borderless cover for treatment outside India, Wellconsult+ for outpatient and wellness needs, Cash-Bag+, HeadsUp, a personal accident cover and a hospital daily cash benefit. What you actually get depends heavily on the variant you pick, so compare Classic, Select, Elite and Black before you buy.
Unlimited sum insured on every variant, with optional Day 1 cover for up to 145 pre-existing conditions.
ReAssure 3.0 is the plan to shortlist if your biggest worry is a very large or repeated claim. An unlimited base sum insured on every variant, plus the option to be covered for listed pre-existing conditions from Day 1, is a combination few health plans in India offer. The trade-off is that the headline benefits and the real-world experience are not the same across variants. Classic and Select limit your room category and cap modern treatments at ₹1 lakh per claim, and Lock the Clock is only on Elite and Black. Day 1 PED cover is optional, needs underwriting and carries an extra premium loading. If you are buying this plan, the variant matters as much as the plan name, so choose the one whose room and treatment limits you are comfortable with.
